Kips BBQ San Marcos Texas
We are BBQ lovers. As we travel we always put BBQ in the GPS and pick a spot. While we were in San Marcos we entered BBQ and up popped Kips. Off we went. We pulled in and I thought "Who can cook BBQ in a small strip mall?" I'm glad we went in it was delicous. Great flavor, not over cooked (just a tug and it came off the bone) and Kip the owner was there. I love sauce but I couldn't put any on because it was just too good without it. He makes a killer jalapeno cornbread and his wife makes a banana pudding to die for. He has been sending us rub since we have been there (not a usual thing for him) The next year as we passed through we stopped and it was as we thought the best we had had and we had been to Authur Bryants, Interstate and many others all over the United States this year.
