I was really looking forward to trying this place out based on the
reviews. We did not last for 5 minutes, the staff is extremely rude and
guests are fighting over tables because the policy is to order first. I
was with my family and did not want them to wait in line while i was
ordering so i had them sit down. We were ready to sample some cool
dishes out because i am an executive chef and enjoy other foodie spots.I
am sure the bill would have been $$$$! The server marched over to my
wife and 6 year old daughter and rudely said “YOU MUST LEAVE THIS TABLE
NOW!” …IT IS FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS… THOSE WHO ORDERED” WOW! what a
way to make an impression! Then, my wife got up and motioned to me to
“Lets leave this place” so we did. As we were leaving, the server again
mocked my wife and laughed. FYI: Places like this who think they are
invincible…do not last long no matter how great they think they are.
We went to La Jolla and went to El Pescador instead. Great find,
positive energy and worth the trip! Shame on Blue Water Seafood! your
staff and energy will ruin you…I will make sure never to recommend
this place to anyone and give my honest review on all open forums.
